I. There is a problem in society today.
That problem is: that the murder rate is rising at a fast pace and the murders being solved have decreased. Since the 1980's til this present day there have been 540,274 homocides in the United States,and only 341,945 of those homocides have been solved.In the recent twenty years the murders solved has decreased by 12% and it will keep increasing unless something is done. This is where the National Fingerprint Database will come in. If the National Fingerprint Database went into effect it would increase the murders being solved and it would help keep track of everyone in the United States.The NFD will help keep the United States FBI informed about Criminal Records and be safe to know that the information brought and sent is confidential and accurate to date. The first state to use the National Fingerprint Database was Montana and it, and it proved to be helpful not just for the law enforcement agency but also for the public good.
